Snap Shots ("we," "us") runs an AI photo booth at private and corporate events. This policy explains what we collect when you use our booth or visit snapshots.pro, how we use it, and the choices you have. Snap Shots is operated by SNAPSHOTS, based in Encinitas, California.
We never sell your personal information.
Information we collect
• Your photo and card. The picture the booth takes of you, and the AI-generated card we create from it.
• Contact details you choose to give us. Your first name and email address, and your mobile number if you enter one. You can skip this screen entirely.
• Your choices. Whether you ticked the box to receive news and offers, and whether you agreed to receive text messages.
• Website basics. Like most websites, snapshots.pro and our hosting provider may record standard technical details such as your browser type and pages visited.
How we use it
• To send you your photo. This is the main reason we ask for your email or phone number.
• To send news and offers, only if you opt in. Marketing emails go only to guests who ticked the opt-in box. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To send text messages, only with your consent. See the text messaging section below.
• To run and improve our service. For example, fixing problems with the booth or the website.
Text messaging
If you enter your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we will text you a link to your photo from the event. Message frequency varies, usually one or two messages per event. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts.
• Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
• Agreeing to texts is never required to get your photo.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the booth:
• Service providers that work on our behalf, such as our email delivery service, our text messaging provider, and the AI service that creates your card. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Legal reasons, if required by law or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give your contact details to event hosts or sponsors. Your card may display a host's or sponsor's logo, but they do not receive your email address or phone number.
How long we keep it
We keep event photos and cards for up to 90 days after the event so we can resend them if needed, then delete them. We keep contact details for marketing until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to what's needed to run the booth.
Your choices
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
• Email us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, including your photo.
Children
Our service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their contact information.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
